Ecuador – In a significant initiative to bolster cybersecurity in Ecuador, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is enhancing the nation’s cybersecurity incident response capabilities. Natsar has joined this initiative as a key technical partner, collaborating with various organizations to provide expert consulting and advisory services.

Natsar’s role includes assisting in the development of a comprehensive Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for Ecuador’s country-wide cybersecurity incident response team (CSIRT). Natsar will also help establish a recommended organizational structure for the CSIRT, along with developing robust policies and procedures. Additionally, Natsar will assist in crafting a national incident and crisis management response plan, conducting tabletop exercises, and offering targeted training to strengthen interagency cooperation across the government.

This partnership aims to create a resilient cybersecurity framework that safeguards Ecuador’s digital infrastructure and enhances its response to cyber threats.
